Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with current and evolving regulatory requirements (FCA, PRA, Money Laundering Regulations, etc.).
- Monitor business activities to identify potential compliance breaches and provide guidance on corrective actions.
- Conduct thorough compliance reviews and investigations, documenting findings and recommending improvements.
- Provide expert compliance advice and guidance to business units on new products, services, marketing materials, and operational processes.
- Support the design and delivery of compliance training programs for employees at all levels.
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory developments, assessing their impact on Santander UK.

Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Compliance Officer within the banking or financial services sector.
- In-depth knowledge of UK financial regulations, including FCA Handbook, PRA Rulebook, and AML regulations.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex regulations clearly.
