Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support, assisting individuals with daily routines including personal care, dressing, and hygiene.
- Administer medication in accordance with carefully documented care plans and company policy (following comprehensive training).
- Assist with nutritious meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring adequate nutrition and hydration for service users.
- Support individuals with domestic tasks, light housekeeping, and maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.
- Facilitate community engagement by accompanying service users to appointments, social outings, leisure activities, and shopping.
- Offer sensitive emotional support, companionship, and actively listen to the needs, preferences, and concerns of service users.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, ensuring clear communication and reporting any changes or concerns to the senior team promptly.
- Promote independence, choice, and dignity for all service users, respecting their individual autonomy.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines, company policies, and relevant care regulations.
- Collaborate effectively and respectfully with family members, healthcare professionals, and other team members to ensure holistic care.
