Job Description

Step into a pivotal role at the heart of London’s vibrant community scene. As a Community Hub Coordinator, you will be the linchpin connecting residents, partners, and our various programs within our dynamic community space. This multifaceted position demands a unique blend of hands-on operational management, exceptional community engagement, and meticulous administrative precision. Your primary mission will be to ensure the seamless daily operation of our hub, fostering an inclusive, welcoming, and safe atmosphere for all visitors, members, and collaborators.

You will be instrumental in managing the diverse array of daily activities, from coordinating schedules for meeting rooms and event spaces to supporting the execution of workshops, classes, and community gatherings. This involves everything from logistical setup and takedown, ensuring necessary equipment is available and functional, to managing external vendor relationships for catering or specialized services. A significant part of your role will involve being the first point of contact, warmly greeting visitors, answering inquiries with a helpful and knowledgeable approach, and providing information about our services and upcoming events.

Beyond direct interaction, you will oversee facility maintenance, collaborating with cleaning staff and external contractors to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency. This includes managing inventory for supplies, processing bookings, handling basic IT troubleshooting, and ensuring all health and safety protocols are strictly adhered to. Your proactive approach will be crucial in identifying potential issues before they arise, guaranteeing our hub remains a consistently positive and functional environment.
