Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding, while maintaining dignity and respect.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) accurately and report any significant changes to nursing staff immediately.
- Help patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using appropriate techniques and equipment to ensure safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment, including tidying rooms, changing linens, and restocking supplies.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a comforting and positive atmosphere.
- Assist nurses with various procedures and treatments as directed, adhering to strict protocols.
- Accurately document all patient care activities, observations, and vital signs in accordance with facility policies.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available and properly sanitized.
- Respond promptly and respectfully to patient calls and requests, demonstrating excellent customer service.
