Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a dedicated team of cleaning staff, ensuring strict adherence to company policies, operational procedures, and paramount safety protocols.
- Develop, implement, and meticulously manage daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for all common areas, diverse facilities, and expansive external grounds of the residential complex.
- Conduct regular, thorough, and unannounced inspections to ensure that cleaning standards consistently meet and significantly exceed both client expectations and Fichua's rigorous quality benchmarks.
- Provide ongoing, comprehensive training and constructive coaching to cleaning staff on best practices, the proficient use of specialized equipment, the safe application of eco-friendly cleaning agents, and critical safety procedures.
- Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained and all tools and machinery are properly maintained and in excellent working order.
- Address and resolve resident queries, concerns, or special requests related to cleaning services promptly, courteously, and professionally.
- Monitor staff performance diligently, conduct regular appraisals, and manage attendance and leave schedules effectively to ensure optimal staffing levels.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all cleaning activities, staff shifts, and consumption of supplies.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, actively promoting a safe and healthy working environment for both the team and residents.
- Collaborate effectively and proactively with the residential complex management to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve high resident satisfaction levels.
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and efficiency gains within all cleaning operations.
Required Skills
- Proven leadership and robust team management abilities, ideally within a cleaning or facilities management context.
- Excellent, in-depth knowledge of modern cleaning techniques, specialized equipment, and stringent hygiene standards.
- Strong organizational and impeccable time-management skills, coupled with the ability to prioritize diverse tasks effectively under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and superior interpersonal skills, capable of interacting professionally and respectfully with staff, residents, and management at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

- Proficiency in additional local languages in Kenya, such as Kiswahili.
- Valid First Aid and fire safety training certifications.
