Job Description

Are you a highly organized, proactive, and dedicated individual with a passion for maintaining pristine environments? Access Bank Plc is seeking an experienced and meticulous Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness and hygiene of our prominent corporate facility in Wuse 2, Abuja. This unique live-in opportunity requires an individual who is not only skilled in managing cleaning operations but also deeply committed to ensuring a consistently superior standard of presentation for our premises around the clock.

As our Cleaning Supervisor, you will be the linchpin in ensuring our corporate environment reflects the high standards and professional image of Access Bank. You will be entrusted with the vital task of leading, motivating, and managing a dedicated team of cleaning personnel, implementing highly effective and efficient cleaning schedules, and rigorously upholding stringent health, safety, and hygiene protocols across all operational areas. Your role is absolutely critical in creating and sustaining a welcoming, safe, and exceptionally productive atmosphere for all our staff members, clients, and esteemed visitors. The ‘live-in’ aspect of this position means you will reside within the facility or immediately adjacent premises, providing you with a profound and intimate understanding of the facility’s evolving needs. This proximity enables swift, on-the-spot responses to any immediate cleaning or hygiene requirements, as well as proactive and strategic planning for long-term preventative maintenance. This position demands an exceptionally keen eye for detail, exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, and a robust, up-to-date understanding of modern cleaning techniques, eco-friendly products, and state-of-the-art equipment.

You will be directly responsible for overseeing the entire spectrum of daily operations within the cleaning department, ensuring that all areas—ranging from executive offices, meeting rooms, and client reception areas to common staff areas, restrooms, kitchens, and external premises—are consistently maintained to impeccable standards of cleanliness and order. This comprehensive oversight includes meticulous inventory management of all cleaning supplies and consumables, regular inspection and maintenance of cleaning equipment, and continuous training and development for the cleaning staff to foster a culture of excellence and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, capable of inspiring and empowering their team while also being prepared to actively step in and assist with cleaning duties when necessary to lead by example. Your unwavering dedication and commitment will directly contribute to the operational excellence, aesthetic appeal, and professional image of Access Bank Plc, making this a profoundly rewarding role for a committed and experienced professional. Join a leading financial institution that not only shapes the future of banking but also deeply values its people and its environment, offering significant opportunities for career growth and impact.
