Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, dusting surfaces, and emptying waste bins.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors, ensuring all amenities are stocked.
- Clean and polish fixtures, furniture, and internal glass surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, offices, and specific client-designated zones.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners safely and effectively.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including the proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or hazardous conditions to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within the designated timeframe and to Midas Cleaning Services' high standards.
- Work independently and efficiently to complete assigned routes and tasks during night and weekend shifts.
Required Skills
- Proven reliability and punctuality, especially for night and weekend shifts.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning tasks.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting (up to 15kg), and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe application.
- Good communication skills to report issues and interact professionally with team members/clients when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (at least 6 months) in a cleaning or housekeeping role, particularly in commercial or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Valid driver's license and own reliable transport (advantageous for night/weekend travel).
