Job Description
We are seeking a diligent, trustworthy, and experienced Cleaner to maintain the impeccable standards of a private estate located in Agege, Lagos. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to fostering a clean, organized, and serene living environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of household cleaning and maintenance, ensuring the estate remains pristine and welcoming at all times. Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily general cleaning duties across all areas of the private estate, including living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
- Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers, bathtubs, sinks, and other bathroom fixtures.
- Washing, ironing, and organizing laundry, including clothing, bedding, and towels, with care for different fabric types.
- Cleaning kitchen appliances, countertops, and ensuring proper sanitation after use.
- Polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain their appearance and longevity.
- Emptying waste bins and ensuring proper disposal of refuse in designated areas.
- Maintaining cleanliness of exterior areas immediately surrounding the residence, such as patios, balconies, or entranceways.
- Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or necessary repairs to the relevant personnel promptly.
- Managing cleaning supplies inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels, and requesting new stock as needed.
- Adhering to strict confidentiality and discretion while working within the private estate, respecting the privacy of residents.
- Occasionally assisting with special cleaning projects, deep cleaning routines, or preparations for events as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience of at least 1 year as a cleaner, house cleaner, or similar role, preferably in a private residence or luxury establishment.
- Thorough knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment, and their safe and effective use.
- Ability to operate vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and other standard cleaning apparatus proficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to cleaning, leaving no area overlooked.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently and efficiently without constant supervision.
- High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and discretion, as you will be working in a private setting.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and prolonged standing and walking.
- Basic understanding of English for effective communication and following instructions.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
