We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riga, Latvia. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement proactive solutions to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality control procedures.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and coordinate work flow.
- Prepare and maintain accurate site records, progress reports, materials logs, and other necessary documentation.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other construction documents.
- Assist in the preparation of project plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Manage the procurement and delivery of materials and equipment to the site.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with environmental regulations and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to on-site teams and resolve site-specific engineering challenges.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Civil Site Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and decision-making skills.
- Fluency in Latvian and English, both written and verbal.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Experience with large-scale commercial or public infrastructure projects.
- Professional engineering license or relevant certifications (e.g., construction safety certifications).
- Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) software.
