Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of civil engineering infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, earthworks, and structural elements.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports.
- Conduct site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with relevant British Standards, Eurocodes, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Oversee construction activities and resolve on-site engineering issues.
- Contribute to tender submissions and bid proposals.
- Implement and promote health, safety, and environmental best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, WinDes).
