Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on plant machinery, including crushers, ball mills, conveyors, kilns, and packaging equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in plant equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Execute corrective maintenance and repair work efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections and safety checks of equipment and operational areas.
- Calibrate and adjust instruments and control systems to optimize plant performance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to inventory management of spare parts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve operational issues and implement improvements.
- Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment or system upgrades.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians or operators as needed.
- Monitor equipment performance parameters and report anomalies to supervisors.
Required Skills
- Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Plant Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in maintenance roles within a heavy industrial environment, preferably cement, mining, or large-scale manufacturing.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, including hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment, and power transmission systems.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, control panels, and PLCs.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
