Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other payment methods securely and correctly.
- Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers warmly and assisting with product queries and information.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming checkout area at all times.
- Assist customers with bagging their groceries and other purchases.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, including those related to age-restricted sales and food hygiene.
- Process returns, exchanges, and customer refunds in line with store policy.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth store operations and customer flow.
- Uphold high standards of personal presentation and hygiene.
- Actively promote special offers, loyalty programs, and other customer initiatives where appropriate.
