Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process all cash, credit, debit, and mobile payment transactions using state-of-the-art POS systems.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or accurate change due to customers, always maintaining transparency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area to enhance customer experience.
- Warmly greet customers upon arrival and provide prompt, courteous assistance with any basic inquiries.
- Proactively resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and efficient manner, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Precisely scan goods, verify pricing accuracy, and apply any applicable discounts or promotions.
- Conduct daily reconciliation of cash drawers at both the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring balance and accountability.
- Assist with stocking shelves, arranging merchandise, and maintaining overall store cleanliness during periods of lower customer traffic.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, including robust safety and security guidelines to protect assets and ensure a safe environment.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in handling cash and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Strong basic mathematical skills for accurate and quick transaction processing.
