Your primary role will be to assist elderly clients with their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being within a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment when necessary.
- Prepare nutritious meals and ensure clients maintain a balanced diet and adequate hydration.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with basic health monitoring (e.g., blood pressure checks, as per training).
- Engage clients in stimulating activities, conversation, and companionship to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including tidying living areas, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings, providing reliable support and transportation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client status and needs.
- Document care provided, observations, and any changes in client condition accurately and promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all care plans, health and safety protocols, and company policies and procedures.
