Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, maintaining dignity at all times.
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, and exercises as prescribed, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, encouraging proper nutrition and hydration.
- Engage residents in social activities, hobbies, and recreational programs to promote mental and physical stimulation.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and active listening, fostering a sense of belonging and well-being.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' physical condition, behavior, or mood to the nursing staff promptly.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment for residents, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Document care provided and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and facility policies and procedures.
- Assist with medication reminders under the direct supervision of nursing staff, if required and trained.
