Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, with dignity and respect.
- Assist with medication reminders and administration as per individual care plans and training.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring dietary requirements and preferences are met.
- Support with light domestic duties such as tidying, laundry, and essential shopping.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful activities and conversations.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, utilising mobility aids safely and effectively where necessary.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients, their families, and the wider care team.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines, company policies, and safeguarding procedures.
- Support clients to access the community, attend appointments, or engage in social activities as required.
