Job Description
First Bank of Nigeria Plc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Car Wash Attendant to join our team in Akure, Ondo State. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our company vehicles. This involves a variety of tasks, from washing and drying vehicles to ensuring the overall cleanliness of the car wash area. Excellent customer service skills are essential, as you will interact with drivers and other staff members on a regular basis. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to ensuring our fleet of vehicles remains in pristine condition, reflecting the high standards of First Bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing and drying vehicles using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques.
- Vacuuming and cleaning vehicle interiors.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the car wash area.
- Ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of car wash equipment.
- Assisting with other tasks as required, such as vehicle detailing.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Providing excellent customer service to drivers and colleagues.
- Reporting any damage or maintenance issues to the appropriate supervisor.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
- Experience in vehicle cleaning and detailing (preferred but not essential).
- Knowledge of various cleaning agents and techniques.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a similar role.
- Valid driver's license (preferred).
