Key Responsibilities
- Assist certified mechanics with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, routine maintenance, and complex repairs.
- Perform basic vehicle services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, filter replacements, and minor adjustments under direct supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, including proper storage and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Support the team in fetching parts, specialized tools, and supplies efficiently as needed for ongoing jobs.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all company safety protocols, workshop procedures, and environmental guidelines.
- Observe, participate, and actively learn from diagnostic processes, repair methodologies, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with senior mechanics, team members, and occasionally with customers when appropriate.
- Handle general workshop duties, including vehicle cleaning, parking, and movement within the garage premises.
- Continuously seek to expand knowledge and practical skills through active engagement in on-the-job training and self-study.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for automotive mechanics and a keen interest in continuous learning.
- Basic understanding of tools and fundamental mechanical concepts, possibly from personal experience or hobbies.
