Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to recipes and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and blenders.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers warmly, taking accurate orders, and processing transactions efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting work environment, including the coffee bar, seating areas, and back-of-house.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using a Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies, rotating products, and notifying management of low stock.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
- Engage with customers, build rapport, and make informed recommendations on menu items.
- Learn and master new coffee recipes, preparation techniques, and menu updates.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient cafe operations.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as required.
