Accenture Australia is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant to join our dynamic Data & AI team in Sydney. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in helping our clients unlock the power of their data, transforming raw information into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will work across various industries, collaborating with diverse teams to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge BI solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable data models, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.
- Create interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using leading BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense).
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation for BI solutions, including data dictionaries, technical specifications, and user guides.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on data governance, data quality, and best practices in BI.
- Lead workshops and training sessions for clients to foster data literacy and promote self-service analytics.
- Stay abreast of emerging BI technologies and trends, evaluating their applicability to client needs.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solutioning and proposal development.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems.
- Strong experience with at least one major BI tool (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense).
- Demonstrated experience in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a client-facing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Consulting role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
