Job Description
As a Business Intelligence Consultant at Standard Bank Mozambique, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions across various facets of our operations. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Business Intelligence solutions, reports, and dashboards using various BI tools.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform complex data analysis, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and availability.
- Create and manage data models for various business domains, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and reports, fostering data literacy.
- Monitor BI system performance and ensure optimal functioning, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging BI technologies to recommend improvements.
- Contribute to data governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Extensive experience with BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema).
- Proven experience with ETL processes and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights clearly.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
