Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate client segment, meeting and exceeding assigned targets.
- Develop and execute strategic client acquisition plans to grow the corporate client base and portfolio.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with corporate clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Understand clients' financial needs and effectively cross-sell a broad range of Access Bank's corporate banking products and services (e.g., treasury, trade finance, credit, digital solutions).
- Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats.
- Prepare comprehensive business proposals, presentations, and financial analyses for prospective and existing clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, credit, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless client service and solution delivery.
- Manage a robust sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Ensure strict adherence to all banking regulations, compliance policies, and internal operational guidelines.

Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development or relationship management within the banking or financial services sector, specifically with corporate clients.
- Demonstrated ability to originate, develop, and close complex corporate banking deals.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance products, services, and market dynamics in Nigeria.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
