Job Description
We are seeking a highly enthusiastic and service-oriented Bellboy to join our distinguished Front Office team at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi. As a Bellboy, you will be the first point of contact for our arriving and departing guests, playing a crucial role in creating an exceptional first impression and ensuring a seamless, comfortable, and memorable stay from the moment they arrive. Your primary responsibility will be to assist guests with their luggage, guide them to their rooms, and provide attentive service, while also familiarizing them with the hotel’s amenities and services. This role requires individuals with impeccable presentation, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for delivering personalized luxury service. You will be an ambassador of our palace, contributing significantly to the overall guest experience and upholding the esteemed reputation of Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all arriving guests with a professional and friendly demeanor, assisting them promptly with luggage and belongings.
- Efficiently transport guest luggage to and from rooms, ensuring items are handled with utmost care and delivered in a timely manner.
- Escort guests to their rooms upon check-in, providing a brief orientation of the room features and hotel facilities, answering any initial questions.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of guest vehicles at the hotel entrance, coordinating with the valet team as necessary.
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, local attractions, and transportation options to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby, entrance, and luggage storage areas.
- Run errands for guests and the Front Office department as requested, demonstrating initiative and helpfulness.
- Report any guest complaints, security concerns, or maintenance issues to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
- Adhere to all hotel safety and security procedures, including handling valuable items and protecting guest privacy.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure a cohesive and luxurious service delivery.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (both verbal and written).
- A professional, polished appearance and a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy luggage.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine desire to assist guests.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced luxury environment.

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6-12 months) in a similar role within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
- Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Arabic, Russian, Mandarin) is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of Abu Dhabi and local attractions.
- A valid UAE driving license (not mandatory, but a plus for potential future growth).
