Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, signature drinks, and custom orders, adhering to Sandals' recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner, providing recommendations and ensuring a memorable experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware, bar tools, and beverage inventory.
- Accurately process guest orders and payments using the resort's point-of-sale system.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene responsibly when necessary, ensuring guest safety and compliance with all regulations.
- Perform daily inventory checks, assist with stock replenishment, and minimize waste.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards set by the company and local regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with other F&B team members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure seamless service.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance mixology skills and product knowledge.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, escalating issues to management when appropriate.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bartender in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or resort setting.
- Proven knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Basic math skills and experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from a recognized bartending school or culinary institute.
