Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company recipes and standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting guests warmly and taking orders accurately.
- Educate guests on menu items, special offerings, and coffee origins.
- Handle cash and card transactions, operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, and ensure accurate cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including work surfaces, seating areas, and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels for coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; report needs to management.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with other café duties as needed, including light food preparation or serving.
- Ensure a consistent and high-quality product is delivered with every order.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista, preferably in a hotel or high-volume café setting.
- Proficiency in operating espresso machines and grinders.
- Strong knowledge of coffee types, brewing methods, and latte art techniques.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and experience with POS systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
Preferred Qualifications
