Job Description

We are seeking a highly enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join the vibrant team of a prestigious hotel café located in Agege. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and other beverage items with speed, efficiency, and consistent quality.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning.
• Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and process payments using the POS system.
• Handle room service beverage orders, ensuring proper packaging and timely delivery to guest rooms.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café environment, including seating areas and service counters.
• Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, notifying management of low stock levels.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, building rapport and ensuring a positive experience.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any service issues promptly and courteously.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and assist colleagues as needed.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista, preferably in a hotel or high-volume café setting.
• Excellent knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, espresso machine operation, and latte art.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
