Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee beverages (espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, etc.) and other drinks according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning.
- Take customer orders accurately, process payments efficiently, and provide an outstanding level of friendly and attentive service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting counter and seating area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, alerting management to replenishment needs.
- Engage with customers, answer questions about menu items, and offer recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider café and hospitality team to ensure smooth operations and a positive atmosphere.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista, with a strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and engaging demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
