Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Interact with guests in a friendly, attentive, and professional manner, taking orders and making recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware, bar tools, and inventory.
- Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and ensure responsible serving practices.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies.
- Adhere to all local and hotel health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with other F&B team members and departments to ensure seamless service.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold the hotel's service standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bar Attendant, Bartender, or similar role, preferably within a hotel or high-volume restaurant.
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and classic cocktail recipes.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Proficiency in German and English language skills (verbal communication).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized bartending course or hospitality diploma.
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Knowledge of local and international beverage trends.
