Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits, and beers, following established recipes and standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, glassware, and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and manage bar inventory, including stocking, rotating products, and reporting low stock levels to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, adhering to all financial procedures.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local and national regulations regarding alcohol service, including diligent age verification.
- Collaborate effectively with lounge staff, kitchen team, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless and cohesive service delivery.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues efficiently and professionally, escalating concerns to management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Contribute proactively to a positive, welcoming, and elegant atmosphere, consistently embodying the hotel's brand standards and service philosophy.
Required Skills
- Proven experience of at least 1.5 years as a Bar Attendant or Bartender in a reputable hotel, restaurant, or lounge setting.
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and classical and contemporary cocktail preparation techniques.
- Exceptional customer service and outstanding communication skills, with a friendly and engaging demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently, calmly, and professionally under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
- Solid basic math skills for accurate handling of transactions, inventory, and recipe measurements.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physically demanding tasks as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from a recognized bartending school or a reputable hospitality training institution.
