Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Stock bar with necessary supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels and proper storage.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash/card transactions responsibly.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including responsible alcohol service laws.
- Monitor guest consumption to ensure responsible service and address any issues professionally.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, rotating, and counting stock.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and waiting staff to ensure seamless service.
- Attend to guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and courteously.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold the hotel’s service standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bar Attendant or in a similar role within a hospitality setting (hotel/restaurant).
- Excellent knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Basic math skills and experience with POS systems for order processing and payment handling.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid food handler's certificate (if applicable per local regulations).
