Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware, condiments, and bar equipment.
- Interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner, taking orders and making recommendations.
- Handle cash and process credit card transactions accurately, maintaining proper records and balancing the till at the end of each shift.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service and adherence to licensing laws.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking bar supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen and other service staff to ensure seamless guest experience.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards of the hotel and local regulations.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and courteously.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and assist colleagues as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bar Attendant or Bartender, preferably in a hotel or upscale lounge setting.
- Solid knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktail preparation and classic drink recipes.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- A positive attitude and a professional demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in mixology or bartending.
