Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards and recipes.
- Interact with guests, take orders, and provide recommendations with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware, ice, and garnishes.
- Monitor and manage inventory of beverages and supplies, reporting shortages to management.
- Process guest payments accurately using the POS system and handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Adhere to all local and national liquor laws, ensuring responsible alcohol service.
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming and enjoyable lounge experience.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for the bar, including cleaning and restocking.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Work collaboratively with other hotel staff to ensure seamless guest service.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bar Attendant or Bartender in a hotel, restaurant, or lounge setting.
- In-depth knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
