Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering strictly to recipes and presentation standards.
- Interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware, condiments, and liquor inventory.
- Process guest payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene responsibly when necessary, ensuring a safe environment.
- Adhere to all local and national liquor laws and health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and rotating stock.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless service delivery across the lounge and wider hotel operations.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any service-related issues promptly and courteously.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance beverage knowledge and customer service skills.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bar Attendant or Bartender, preferably in a hotel or upscale lounge setting.
- In-depth knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the hospitality industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in mixology or bartending from a recognized institution.
