Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner, taking orders, making recommendations, and ensuring their complete satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Manage inventory, restock bar supplies, and assist with ordering to ensure a continuous supply of beverages and ingredients.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately, operating point-of-sale systems with integrity.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as local liquor laws.
- Collaborate effectively with other lounge and hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bar Attendant, preferably within a hotel or high-volume lounge setting.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and inventory.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in bartending or mixology.
- Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel brand.
- Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with inventory management software.
