We are currently seeking a highly motivated and meticulous individual to join our facilities team at our prominent Maitama, Abuja branch as a Bank Cleaner – Office Cleaning (Night Shift). This is a critical full-time position that plays an essential role in upholding the pristine condition and professional image of our banking premises. As a night shift cleaner, you will be entrusted with the vital responsibility of ensuring that all areas of the bank – including executive offices, customer service halls, meeting rooms, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas – are immaculately maintained and ready for a fresh day of operations.
Working independently and as part of a dedicated team, you will execute a comprehensive cleaning regimen that adheres strictly to Access Bank’s high standards of hygiene and safety. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing surfaces in offices, lobbies, and common areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms thoroughly, ensuring proper hygiene standards are met and supplies are restocked.
- Empty waste bins, transport waste to designated disposal areas, and ensure proper waste management procedures are followed.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment.
- Maintain floors by stripping, waxing, buffing, or shampooing carpets as required.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order and stored correctly after use.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and bank security protocols during cleaning operations.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed during the shift to the facilities management.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and pressure washers safely and efficiently.
- Work cooperatively with other facilities staff to ensure all areas of the bank are maintained to the highest standards.
