Job Description
Are you a highly innovative and passionate Automotive Design Engineer eager to shape the next generation of luxury vehicles? Jaguar Land Rover is seeking a talented individual to join our world-class engineering team based at our state-of-the-art facility in Gaydon, Warwickshire. As an Automotive Design Engineer, you will be instrumental in the conceptualization, design, and development of various vehicle systems and components, ensuring they meet our stringent standards for performance, quality, safety, and aesthetic appeal. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to projects from initial sketch through to production, working on groundbreaking technologies and iconic designs that will define the future of modern luxury mobility. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including styling, package, manufacturing, and supply chain, to deliver innovative and robust solutions that exceed customer expectations and set new benchmarks in the industry.
Your role will involve utilizing advanced CAD tools such as Catia V5/V6, performing detailed design analysis, and supporting the creation of prototypes. You’ll be challenged to integrate complex vehicle systems, optimize designs for weight reduction, cost efficiency, and manufacturability, and rigorously test concepts to ensure their viability under real-world conditions. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of automotive engineering principles, someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering excellence. You will be expected to bring fresh perspectives, challenge conventional thinking, and actively seek out opportunities for innovation in every aspect of your work, from initial concept generation to final design release. This position offers a unique chance to work on both current production models and exciting future vehicle platforms, directly influencing the next wave of Jaguar and Land Rover products that will captivate global audiences. If you are ready to drive innovation, embrace complex engineering challenges, and leave your mark on the automotive landscape, contributing to a legacy of British engineering prowess, we encourage you to apply and join us on this transformative journey. We believe in empowering our engineers to take ownership and make a real impact, providing the resources and support needed to turn visionary ideas into reality and redefine the future of automotive luxury.
