Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations, diagnose illnesses and injuries, and develop appropriate treatment plans.

- Administer vaccinations, preventative care, and provide client education on pet health, nutrition, and behavior.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as radiographs, ultrasound, and laboratory results.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records using our practice management software.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with pet owners, discussing treatment options, prognoses, and financial considerations.
- Collaborate with the veterinary support team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in continuing education to stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine.
- Provide emergency and urgent care as needed during scheduled shifts.
Required Skills
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
- Current and unrestricted Delaware veterinary license (or ability to obtain one prior to employment).
