Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior waiters in setting up tables before service, ensuring all cutlery, crockery, and glassware are immaculately clean and correctly placed.
- Welcome guests warmly upon their arrival and assist them with seating arrangements, presenting menus, and answering initial questions about the restaurant or offerings.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen or bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to proper service etiquette and presentation standards.
- Clear tables efficiently after each course and upon guest departure, ensuring the dining area remains tidy and prepared for the next guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including wiping down tables, refilling condiments, and ensuring service stations are well-stocked.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with politeness and professionalism, escalating complex issues to a supervisor when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bar staff, and other team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and standards within the restaurant.
- Provide attentive and personalized service, anticipating guest needs and contributing to a positive dining atmosphere.
