Key Responsibilities
- Assist waiters and waitresses in providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all guests.
- Prepare dining areas by setting tables, polishing cutlery, and ensuring all essentials are in place before service.
- Clear tables efficiently, remove soiled dishes, glassware, and cutlery, and reset tables promptly for new guests.
- Replenish water glasses, bread baskets, and other condiments as needed throughout service.
- Assist in taking and delivering food and beverage orders accurately, as directed by the lead waiter.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including side stations, service areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest requests.
- Handle guest inquiries and minor concerns with professionalism, escalating complex issues to senior staff.
- Adhere strictly to all hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
- Participate in daily briefings and training sessions to continuously improve service standards.
