Key Responsibilities
- Support senior waiters in all aspects of service, including order taking, food and beverage delivery, and table service.
- Efficiently set up and prepare dining tables, ensuring all cutlery, glassware, and condiments are perfectly arranged.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant and service areas throughout shifts.
- Warmly greet guests, assist them with seating, and provide menus as needed.
- Promptly refill water glasses, clear used dishes, and attend to guests' requests with a polite and helpful attitude.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparations, and daily specials.
- Foster strong teamwork and clear communication with kitchen staff and other front-of-house colleagues.
- Address minor guest inquiries or concerns professionally and report significant issues to management.
- Adhere strictly to all restaurant policies regarding hygiene, safety, and service standards.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including stocking, cleaning, and preparing for the next service period.
