Key Responsibilities
- Assist Head Waiters with setting up dining areas before service, including table settings, polishing cutlery, and arranging condiments.
- Welcome guests warmly and guide them to their tables, presenting menus and answering initial queries.
- Serve water, bread, and other accompaniments promptly as guests are seated.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, relaying them to the kitchen or bar staff.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables efficiently and courteously.
- Clear tables during and after meals, ensuring a tidy and pleasant dining environment.
- Reset tables quickly and efficiently for the next guests.
- Handle guest inquiries and minor complaints gracefully, escalating complex issues to the Head Waiter or Manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, serving stations, and storage spaces.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, as well as food hygiene standards.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bar staff, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies as needed.
