Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior waiting staff in setting up tables before service and clearing them after guests depart.
- Deliver food and beverages accurately and promptly to guests' tables, following established service standards.
- Ensure dining areas, service stations, and back-of-house areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Refill water glasses, bread baskets, and other condiments as needed without prompting.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding orders, special requests, and dietary restrictions.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries with professionalism and a positive attitude, escalating complex issues to senior staff.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including daily specials and beverage offerings.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and procedures.
- Support inventory management by assisting with stock checks and reporting shortages.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by assisting colleagues whenever necessary.
