Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior waiters with order taking, food and beverage service, and guest table management.
- Efficiently set up, clear, and reset tables before, during, and after service periods.
- Ensure all dining areas, service stations, and equipment are clean, tidy, and well-organized at all times.
- Replenish condiments, silverware, glassware, and other table essentials proactively.
- Serve water, bread, and other accompaniments promptly and courteously to guests.
- Communicate effectively and clearly with kitchen staff regarding orders, special requests, and dietary restrictions.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and minor concerns with politeness, professionalism, and a helpful attitude.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
- Support the entire restaurant team in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and positive dining atmosphere.
- Actively learn and maintain up-to-date knowledge of all menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure restaurant environment.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and carry trays for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6+ months) in a hospitality, restaurant, or customer service role.

- Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent educational qualification.
