Key Responsibilities
- Setting up and clearing tables efficiently before, during, and after service periods.
- Assisting waiters with food and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to guests.
- Serving water, bread, and other accompaniments promptly as per guest requests.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including polishing cutlery, glassware, and tidying service stations.
- Refilling condiments and ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.
- Communicating effectively with kitchen staff and other front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Responding to guest inquiries and requests in a polite and helpful manner, escalating complex issues to senior staff.
- Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations and standards.
- Assisting with the breakdown and cleaning of the dining area at the close of service.
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English fluency required).
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure restaurant environment.
- Basic understanding of restaurant operations and service etiquette.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
