Key Responsibilities
- Assist waiters in serving food and beverages to guests efficiently and courteously.
- Set up dining areas, including tables, chairs, and place settings, ensuring cleanliness and proper arrangement.
- Clear tables promptly after guests depart and prepare them for the next seating.
- Refill water glasses, bread baskets, and other condiments as needed without prompting.
- Handle and transport trays of food and dirty dishes safely and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including side stations and serving areas.
- Support the restaurant team during peak hours, ensuring smooth service flow.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service.
- Adhere strictly to all hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to special requests with a positive and helpful attitude.
- Assist in taking guest orders accurately and relaying them to the kitchen when necessary.
Required Skills
- Prior experience (minimum 6 months) in a restaurant or hotel environment preferred, but eager entry-level candidates are encouraged.
