Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing daily lessons and educational activities tailored for students with special needs.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them understand concepts and complete tasks.
- Help create and adapt learning materials, visual aids, and resources to suit individual student requirements and learning styles.
- Support students with personal care, mobility, and communication needs as required, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Assist in monitoring student progress, documenting observations, and reporting relevant information to the lead teacher.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, therapists, and other support staff to ensure holistic student development.
- Actively participate in all provided comprehensive training sessions and professional development workshops.
- Help manage classroom behavior, implementing positive reinforcement strategies and supportive interventions.
- Supervise students during classroom activities, playtime, and transitions, ensuring their safety and engagement.
