Are you a highly skilled and passionate Artisan Baker with a flair for creativity and a desire to blend hands-on production with strategic planning? SuperSpar Wellington invites you to rise to the occasion in a unique Hybrid Baker role. We are seeking an experienced individual who can master the art of baking while also contributing to the innovation and operational efficiency of our vibrant bakery department. This distinctive position acknowledges that the craft of baking extends beyond the oven, allowing for a balanced work model where you can dedicate crucial time on-site for direct production, quality assurance, and team collaboration, and also contribute remotely to vital tasks such as recipe development, inventory management, administrative reporting, and market trend research.
At SuperSpar Wellington, our bakery is renowned for its diverse array of freshly baked goods – from crusty artisan breads and wholesome rolls to delicate pastries, celebratory cakes, and custom orders. As our Artisan Baker, you will be instrumental in maintaining these high standards, ensuring every product that leaves our ovens is a testament to quality and taste. You will have the opportunity to experiment with new recipes, refine existing ones, and contribute significantly to our product offering, keeping it fresh and exciting for our loyal customers. This role is perfect for a self-motivated baker who thrives in both a dynamic kitchen environment and a focused planning setting, eager to make a tangible impact on a beloved local brand.
If you possess a deep understanding of baking science, a keen eye for presentation, and the organisational skills to manage your workflow across different environments, this is your chance to shape the future of our bakery. We offer a supportive team, opportunities for professional growth, and the satisfaction of knowing your creations bring joy to the Wellington community every day.
