Job Description
KEO International Consultants is actively seeking a highly skilled and creative Architect to join our esteemed architectural design team based in Dubai. This pivotal role involves contributing to the full lifecycle of complex, large-scale architectural projects, primarily focusing on high-rise, mixed-use, commercial, and residential developments. The successful candidate will be instrumental in translating conceptual ideas into detailed, constructible designs, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of architectural designs from concept through schematic design, design development, and construction documentation phases.
- Prepare compelling design proposals, presentations, and reports for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including structural engineers, MEP specialists, landscape architects, and interior designers, to ensure fully integrated and cohesive project solutions.
- Ensure all designs comply strictly with local regulations, building codes, and relevant international standards.
- Oversee the production of high-quality construction documents, specifications, and schedules, maintaining accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and provide technical support and clarifications during the construction administration phase.
- Mentor and guide junior architects, contributing to their professional development and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Effectively manage project deadlines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-efficient project execution.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio showcasing large-scale projects, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.
- Exceptional proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction techniques pertinent to the UAE.
- Demonstrated strong design sensibilities, advanced technical detailing skills, and outstanding presentation abilities.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Architect or Licensed Architect (e.g., RIBA, AIA, UAE professional registration).
- Proven experience with sustainable design principles and certifications (e.g., LEED, Estidama).
- Familiarity with advanced BIM methodologies and software beyond Revit.
- Previous experience working with international consulting firms on complex projects.
- Proficiency in additional languages, particularly Arabic.
