Key Responsibilities

• Assist experienced mechanics with routine vehicle maintenance and minor repair tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake pad replacements, fluid level checks, and filter changes.
• Learn to effectively diagnose and troubleshoot common mechanical and basic electrical issues under direct supervision, utilizing diagnostic tools.
• Observe, actively participate in, and understand the repair procedures for engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, and braking systems.
• Maintain a consistently clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and accounted for.
• Strictly adhere to all established safety procedures, guidelines, and workshop protocols to ensure personal and team safety.
• Support the team in performing thorough vehicle inspections and assist in preparing accurate and detailed service reports.
• Attend all mandatory training sessions, workshops, and actively seek opportunities to enhance technical knowledge and practical skills.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with senior mechanics, service advisors, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform basic vehicle checks, pre-delivery inspections, and fluid top-ups as directed by lead technicians.
• Assist with customer vehicle check-in and check-out procedures, including moving vehicles within the workshop and parking areas.

• Previous informal or formal experience in a workshop setting, even as a helper, is a plus.
• Possession of a valid driver's license (a Learner's Permit is acceptable if actively working towards a full license).
• Basic knowledge of different vehicle makes, models, and their common components.
