Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine appropriate wiring layouts.
- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using hand and power tools.
- Install and connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, and other components.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, identify faulty components, and assist with repairs under supervision.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with local electrical codes and company safety policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, properly storing tools and materials.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment.
- Attend scheduled training sessions and workshops to enhance electrical knowledge and skills.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and challenges.
